How it Works

  • Samadhan is a grievance redressal division of Bihar State Housing Board. It is used for registering complains by the common mass. The registration process is as follows:
  • Complainaint visit Samadhan with the application/complain along with needed document for that complain. Samadhan has a predefined format for filing the application but now-a-days they are not following that format. The Application which is received in Samadhan is not entered into E-Dak.
  • Thereafter the complainant gets a unique “Complain ID”. There is no any special kind of file or folder created for the complain. They only follow up all complain with different complain ID .If a single person filed two different application then they will get two different complain Id for different applications.
  • After that the executive at BSHB moves complain to the concerned officer.
  • The action taking authority at different levels are responsible to solve complains, if they do not take proper action within specified time bound  they have to go through penalty ranging from minimum 500 to maximum 5000. The penalty will be deducted from their salary against the fund of BSHB. ADM RANK Officers are normally action taking authorized person.
  • Status of problem solved or not is updated to the complainant through mail, call, Letter, or Manual.
  • In any case if the case is reopened then again it goes to the same concerned officer.
